Arts Alfresco
Art Alfresco, designed to increase cultural offerings in the Hoover area and promote awareness of the botanical gardens, was launched in 2006 with funding from the Jefferson County Commission's Community Arts Fund which was administered by the Cultural Alliance of Greater Birmingham.

July 12	This five-member acoustic jazz band was established in 1997. The group experimented with a number of styles of Dixieland jazz and finally evolved as a gruop with their own distinctive and eclectic sound. The band plays all styles, including traditional jazz, big band tunes and even ukulele and lap steel, but with just enough of a twist to be different. Come out and enjoythe music of these five unique individuals--Tony Lombardo, Tom Dameron, Chuck King, Sam Ranelli, Jr. and Mike Cogan. $10/$8 for Garden Members
Oct 12	Latin Soul Productions brings a Latin Dance Party to the Aldridge Botanical Gardens pavilion! This popular dance party begins with an hour of dance instructions with some of the best Latin dancers in Alabama! DJ Carlos Otalora will be playing the finest in Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia, Reggaeton and other Latin rhythms that are guaranteed to move your feet. This evening will be mui caliente!
Oct 19	What began as a "ladies' night out" among five musical friends now pleases those young and young at heart with a distinctive blend of sweet harmonies and swinging rhythms. Be sure to come out and hear this exciting female vocal jazz group combine vintage jazz standards with blues, gospel, pop and a touch of "doowop." They put on a lively show where the Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy meets the Boy from New York City while Stars Fell on Alabama and everyone gets In the Mood. $10/$8 for Garden Members You may pay at the gate just prior to each concert or event unless otherwise noted.
